The Bus

A lovingly converted Bedford Panorama available to hire

The bus has a beautiful wooden floor, painted pine boarding and a well thought-out dining/kitchen area with hand-built units, oak worktops, a gas cooker and a fridge. At the back is a cosy double bed and a wood-burning stove placed on an old flagstone. An L-shaped sofa seat folds into a further double bed. Solar panels on the roof power the lights and a socket to charge phones, laptops etc.

Outside is a decked area on two levels, a fire-pit on which you can cook in the open air and two level platforms. These can act as tent-pitch areas, able to accommodate up to a further four guests if your party is larger, or which could be used simply as places to relax, take in the view or enjoy a picnic.

A few metres away lies a purpose built wooden bath house, containing a flush toilet and a luxurious roll-top bath with shower above. A second wood-burner is installed for those chillier nights and the room comes complete with tea-light candles for the ultimate romantic bath experience.

Hot tub

Luxury Swedish wood fired hot tub for up to 5 people. Easy to use with its brilliant economical side loading integral wood burner.
Set in a perfect position to enjoy the beautiful surroundings where you can look at the stars and share the nights with the bats and the owls.

What's in the price?

When in season fresh cut flowers from our garden will be in the bus We provide bed linen , towels , quilts etc to sleep 4 in the bus - anyone pitching tents outside would need to bring their own bedding. Milk will be in the fridge and guests will find basic supplies such as tea , coffee , sugar , condiments , washing up liquid , toiletries when you arrive. A net of logs for the woodburner is provided free of charge and further wood can be bought from us as you go. Hot tub included in the price (Firewood will be charged as extra)
